The Marketing Analytics team supports the Marketing organization to evaluate brand investments and drive new customer relationships. We analyze data from a broad range of marketing activities, and translate it into actionable insights for senior leadership, marketing functions, and business partners. 

About the role

This role involves extracting and analyzing data across multiple databases, evaluating effectiveness of marketing investments, and identifying trends and opportunities for improvement across the entire marketing funnel. The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of online and offline marketing analytics and be able to employ various analytical tools for evaluating trends and measuring performance against qualitative and quantitative objectives.

As the Sr. Manager of Marketing Analytics, you will report to the Director of Marketing Analytics and will be responsible for delivering the most high value insights to the teams and customers who need them. 

How you’ll have an impact

  • Lead implementation of of Media Mix Modeling and provide insights to continuously optimize our mix and improve ROI
  • Partner with fellow marketing team to identify biggest areas of opportunity from a growth perspective while building out the vital capabilities to properly measure the incremental impact of all tactics and strategies
  • Lead meticulous testing function across marketing to ensure experiments/AB Tests are designed properly, executed correctly and measured accurately, incorporating analytics best practices and develop a process to create a culture of "test and learn" and after-action in cross collaboration effort with marketing growth teams.
  • Partner with the central data engineering and analytics teams to design and implement data pipelines, schemas, business intelligence, and experimentation tooling to enable world class analytics growth
  • Perform and create useful data views and write stored procedures in Microsoft SQL environment for easy data consumption and automated reporting
  • Envision and lead the development of new and advanced marketing attribution solutions
  • Conduct deep dives into data and provide insights to inform business decisions
  • Evaluate marketing investments at the media/channel/tactic/promotion level using a data driven approach

What we’re looking for

  • 5 years of experience working in business intelligence, analytics, data engineering, data science or a similar role
  • Bachelors’ in Engineering, Analytics, Data Science, Mathematics or related field. Masters desirable
  • Thrives working with large volumes of data spanning multiple business lines and ingested into lakes, modeled in warehouses, and presented in business intelligence platforms.
  • SQL master, highly skilled in data analysis and visualization. Must be interested in up-leveling the state of our reporting infrastructure for day to day decision making
  • Excellent quantitative skills and are very comfortable with statistical modeling and analysis
  • Deeply understand the methodologies for experimental precision, but also can defer to practical decision making frameworks for speed
  • Knowledge of media mix modeling, generating What-If scenarios, and optimization
  • Previous experience in business analytics, marketing operations, analyst or project management role
  • Clear communication and ability to present to large audiences

Nice to have 

  • An experience in working in SaaS business
  • A masters degree in quantitative field
  • Familiarity with Python or R
  • Any experience in planning and knowledge of financial metrics like revenue, acquisition costs
