Position: Senior Health Data Analyst 

Duties: Solicit, interpret, and document client business requirements to operationalize value-based payment methods. Translate business intelligence into systematic tactical plans to support scoping and prioritization of development work. Expand, adapt, and configure data products to create necessary business intelligence tools and deliver accurate and scalable value-based payment solutions to Nuna’s clients. Lead and coordinate tests to ensure that intelligence is consistent with client business requirements and needs. Verify and validate Nuna's implementation of client value-based payment models. Identify ways to leverage Nuna’s product technology to deliver measurable business value by helping customers understand product key capabilities. Lead, coordinate, and train team members to support and build products for healthcare plans and providers. Identify and design new ways to extend Nuna's products to better serve clients' business needs in collaboration with Product Managers, Engineering, and Design teams. Collect and analyze business intelligence data to support recommended actions and to improve existing products.

Education Required: Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration (Information Systems), Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.

Experience Required: 4 years of experience as a Data Analyst, Business Information Consultant, Systems Analyst, Database Administrator, or related occupation.

Special Requirements: Must have at least 1 year of prior work experience in each of the following:

  1. Using information systems to tum raw health care data into information that can be used for decision making.
  2. Using business intelligence strategies and technologies including reporting, online analytical processing, analytics, dashboard development, data mining, process mining, complex event processing, business performance management, benchmarking, text mining, predictive analytics, and prescriptive analytics.
  3. Value-driven payment arrangements, healthcare financial models, and provider quality measurement strategies.
  4. Programming in SQL.
  5. Developing Enterprise Software.

Position allows telecommuting. Applicant may reside anywhere in U.S., and reports to the San Francisco, CA office. Any incurred business travel will be fully reimbursed.

Salary: $186,846 to $215,000 per year
