The Analytics Team powers data analytics, data science, and data engineering supporting all initiatives at NZXT. We’re looking for a senior manager to help build and shape how our team partners with business units across the company to provide thoughtful strategic analysis, reporting, and automation. This manager will work to support and grow the analytics and data engineering ICs working under their purview to build data driven solutions to a variety of business problems. Our team is scrappy, so this manager would need to have the technical and problem solving skills needed to get their hands dirty helping their analysts make progress.


Your day-to-day will Involve:

  • Hiring and guiding Data Analysts, Data Scientists, and Data Engineers, helping them prioritize their work, making sure they grow.
  • Designing the right team structure to ensure coverage and support for all business units
  • Proposing effective solutions to critical business analytics problems
  • Effectively communicating with and persuading a wide variety of business partners.
  • Upholding high standards of integrity and execution.
  • Contributing to a strong analytics culture that embraces objectivity and the scientific method


Some things we consider critical for this role:

  • 5 years of experience in analytics or data science with at least 2 years of people management experience in product analytics & data engineering. Must have experience managing teams of more than four people.
  • SQL proficiency and comfort working with a scripting language such as Python or R
  • Experience working with ETL tools and overseeing Data Engineers to build an outstanding modern data stack to ensure data is where it needs to be, when it needs to be there
  • Experience with project management, ability to effectively prioritize both your own work and the work of others
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong presentation and public speaking skills
  • Ability to recognize analytics needs across the organization and hire against those needs
  • Strong experiment design and analysis skills
  • Ability to grow people through timely and specific feedback
  • Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast paced and quickly evolving environment
