The Job

We’re looking for an experienced business intelligence engineering leader to join our growing business intelligence team. As the Manager/Senior Manager of Business Intelligence Engineering, reporting to the Director of Business Intelligence, you’ll design and develop data systems and reporting models to ensure that the company has the sales, support, and operations needed to make crucial business decisions. You’ll have the opportunity to design data solutions and solve challenging problems using Turntide’s cloud-based data infrastructure.

The Responsibilities

• Working as a key decision maker to develop high quality business intelligence data
• Designing, building, and maintaining business intelligence data pipelines and data-marts
• Developing a unified customer, sales pipeline, and product data schemas that will provide a complete view of Turntide’s business
• Identifying and implementing internal process improvements such as automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, and re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability
• Develop deep partnership with cross-functional teams with varying backgrounds, from the highly technical to the highly creatives

Requirements 

• Proficient in SQL and at least one programming language (Python preferred)
• 6+ years of experience in software and/or data engineering
• 2+ years of experience leading data engineering, business intelligence, and/or data analytics teams
• 2+ years of experience in cloud-based business intelligence ELT/ETL technologies (Fivetran, Stitch, Precog, Snowflake, AWS Redshift, MS Azure, dbt, Tableau, Looker, etc)
• Experience in optimizing data pipeline architecture, maintaining data flows, and ensuring consistent data collection for cross functional teams
