We are looking for a leader to join our FP&S (Financial Planning and Strategy) team as Senior Manager,  Finance Data and Analytics. In this role, you will be the primary lead partnering with Checkr’s finance organization to drive better decision making through analytics and data infrastructure. Additionally, you have proven success working in a dynamic, high-growth, and fast-paced environment.

 

Responsibilities:

  • You will serve as a key analytics partner to FP&S and other cross-functional leaders by understanding business challenges and creating data centered solutions to address them
  • You will help build a strong finance data foundation, meaningful analytics, and action oriented reporting to enable finance and business leaders to drive growth and efficiency 
  • You will work cross functionally with our data infrastructure team to improve the robustness of our infrastructure and to cultivate a data driven culture
  • You will hire, train, and manage a team of top-performing analysts
  • You will successfully structure, plan, and drive the team to build and maintain finance data models and dashboards in Looker, such as:
    • LTV / CAC modeling
    • Sales funnel analysis / reporting
    • Revenue and cost metrics reporting / analysis
    • WBR and MBR (shift presentations from being Google sheets sourced to Looker visualizations)

What you bring:

  • 4+ years of work experience in data analytics, business analytics, or related field
  • 1+ years of work experience managing and leading a team of analysts
  • Ability to think across multiple dimensions of a business (sales, product, marketing etc.) and work cross-functionally to deliver results
  • Experience working with large data sets, building ETL tables, performing in-depth data analyses in SQL, and creating KPI reports and dashboards in business analytics tools (Looker, Tableau, etc.) for business partners
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills

The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors.  In accordance with Colorado law, the base salary for this role if filled within Colorado is $162,563 - $191,250.
