Our People Team is key to the growth of GOAT Group as the company continues to expand globally. Through our innovative programs and data-driven strategies, the company is committed to building a culture that is inclusive, cooperative and motivating. As a member of this team, you will play an indispensable part in our company's future by matching talent to the right roles as well as cultivating an environment in which all of our employees – across our warehouses, Flight Club retail stores and corporate teams – are able to thrive.

As the Head of People Analytics, you’ll play a key role in developing, designing, and implementing a people analytics strategy across the broader People Team, championing a culture of data-based decision-making in all aspects of hiring and managing our global corporate, operations, and retail teams. You’ll build and lead a team of analysts responsible for serving as analytics business partners to our People team leadership, building data pipelines and analyses that equip them with the information needed to manage a rapidly scaling, global workforce. In addition, you and your team will dive into strategic analyses, utilizing an array of analytical techniques to evaluate effectiveness of our human capital strategy and proactively identify opportunities for intervention and improvement.

Reporting to the Head of People Experience & Planning, and in partnership with our People Strategy & Programs team, you’ll enable our People leadership team to make intentional, data-driven decisions in managing our talent, ultimately ensuring GOAT Group is on the leading edge of analytics-driven HR teams.

In this role you will:

    • Hire and coach a team of analysts to be strategic thinkers and insightful storytellers of data, serving as business partners to the People team and our business clients
    • Proactively surface insights to our Executive team and People Leadership Team, responding to issues of top strategic importance with ad hoc analyses that leverage a variety of analytical techniques
    • Partner with peer leaders across the People team as well as your manager to identify and track key candidate and employee metrics, understanding the entire talent lifecycle from application to exit
    • Develop an internal client engagement model that meets the data and analytical needs of business clients and the People team, including clients in Talent Acquisition, Recruiting Operations, HR Business Partners, Strategy & Programs, Learning & Development, and People Operations
    • Build a suite of internal analytical tools and capabilities, including BI reports and dashboards, business reporting, statistical models, and strategic deep-dives
    • Partner with the HR Technology team to ensure systems such as our ATS, HRIS, and other relevant tools are optimized to produce clean data and useful insights
    • Set a high bar for your team in generating insights at the highest levels of quality, accuracy, and impact, holding yourself to the same standard

We are looking for:

    • 8+ years of relevant professional experience, with direct experience managing analysts. Background in people analytics required. Experience at high-growth companies is a plus
    • Impactful communication skills, able to lead and drive executive-level discussions with data-driven narratives that determine long-term strategy
    • Entrepreneurial agility, approaching the challenges of a dynamic, rapidly-changing environment with a curious mindset and “get-the-job-done” mentality
    • Client-focused mindset, focused on supporting leadership-level stakeholders, coaching them to thoughtfully utilize data in decision-making
    • Strong project management skills and attention to detail
    • Expertise in Excel, Google Sheets, or other spreadsheet-based analysis tools
    • Experience and understanding of HR data and systems (i.e., HRIS, ATS) and business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Visier, Datastudio)
    • Experience with statistical analysis (e.g., predictive and behavioral modeling) a plus
