FocusKPI is looking for a Senior NLP Data Scientist to work for our company’s internal projects.

As an NLP Data Scientist, you will develop and refine our Large Language Models tailored for business applications. Working closely with business stakeholders, UX/UI designers, and software developers, you will ensure our AI solutions seamlessly integrate with existing business flows and deliver unmatched value to our users. Your expertise will contribute to the creation of a cutting-edge SaaS platform that empowers business professionals to achieve greater efficiency and productivity.
Duration: 3 months contract to full-time position
Work Location: Remote in the U.S.(preferred EST time zone)
Pay range: $8k - $10k/mo.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate these into AI-driven solutions that integrate with current business processes.
- Design, develop, and refine Large Language Models (LLMs) to address specific business challenges, focusing on usability, scalability, and effectiveness.
- Work alongside UX/UI designers to ensure the AI solutions are accessible and user-friendly, enhancing the overall user experience of our SaaS platform.
- Partner with software developers to integrate AI models into our cloud-based platform, ensuring high performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Continuously research and stay abreast of the latest trends in Generative AI, applying innovative approaches to enhance our AI offerings.
- Contribute to the full product lifecycle, from conception through deployment, ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions that meet business requirements.
- Assist in developing documentation and support materials to facilitate user adoption and satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Ph.D or Master’s degree in Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning, Data science or a related field.
- Minimum of 6+ years of experience
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python and frameworks/libraries like TensorFlow or PyTorch.
- Proficient in SQL and relational databases
- Experience with MLOps (e.g., airflow)
- In-depth understanding of Machine Learning and AI algorithms and model evaluation
- Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and understanding of SaaS architecture principles.
- Experience developing natural language processing (NLP) models
- Experience with Project management and Business sense
- Experience direct working with the clients and team work
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a proven track record of working effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with UI/UX design principles and customer-centric development is a plus.
