Red Cell Partners is hiring a Senior/Principal Data Engineer.  As the Senior/Principal Engineer, you will be responsible for the backend data infrastructure enabling big data analytics and machine learning at scale. 

What You Will Do: 

• Design and implement robust backend solutions to handle complex data 
• Develop, scale, and optimize our machine learning infrastructure 
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, partners, and customers to understand needs, offer insights, and tailor data systems to meet these needs 
• Architect our next generation of data processing and analysis systems 

 Required Qualifications: 

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field 
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in backend engineering with expertise in data structures, algorithms, and software design 
• Strong experience with machine learning infrastructure and data engineering 
• Proficiency in programming languages like Python, Java, or C++ 

• Experience with cloud-based solutions (AWS, GCP, Azure) and familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) 
• Experience with big data streaming technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Airflow. 
• Deep knowledge of computer networking concepts and how traffic is routed across the internet 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
• Strong desire to protect national security interests

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Prior experience in cybersecurity, especially pertaining to network or machine forensics 
• Experience with AWS big data technologies – EMR, Glue, Lakehouse, etc.
