Our mission is to solve climate change by restoring nature. Climate change requires us to remove carbon from the atmosphere. Forests are the way to do it. We use satellite imaging and machine learning to measure and monitor forests. Like-minded and top investors, such as Saltwater Capital, Chris Sacca, and Paul Graham, back us.
We are building the worldâs first verified forest carbon marketplace. We watch forests, track carbon offsets, and connect buyers to high-quality projects. We need your help to bring transparency and to increase the use of forests to remove carbon.
Our machine learning teams are looking for a senior software engineer to be responsible for laying the critical infrastructure for our mission to map and monitor the planet's forests.
Position is remote
You will:
- be responsible for deploying ML models to production from research scientists,
- handle data integrations and transformation pipelines in Python on Beam,
- manage the GPU cluster responsible for training models on Kubernetes,
- developing tools and infrastructure to increase iteration time and improve developer experience, and
- owning the ML services and integrations for use in product.
