As a Sr. Business Intelligence Analyst on the Finance team, you will work in close partnership with  IT, Finance, and other G&A functions to build innovative tableau dashboards. As part of end-to-end dashboard development, you will partner with stakeholders and functional experts to translate business requirements into optimized reporting workflows; design appropriate data models and visualizations in Tableau; and support the sustainability of the reporting workflow, while ensuring data accuracy & integrity.

You will:

    • Work with the key stakeholders to understand their needs and requirements
    • Collaborate with our outside billing vendor to bring Revenue and Billing data in house
    • Collaborate with the IT data engineering team to design and architect efficient data models
    • Leverage Tableau to create interactive stories, dashboards, and visualizations to track complex operational KPIs and diagnose process failures
    • Document, resolve and escalate issues
    • Develop Functional Specifications
    • Develop authorization design and matrix with business process owner
    • Define test scenarios, test scripts & conduct UAT
    • Responsible for Key User Training
    • Conduct go-live and responsible for sign-off documentation
    • Provide post-implementation support
    • Serve as a primary point of contact for production support issue resolution for the dashboards you will develop.

Your background should include:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Information systems, Accounting or Finance or related discipline.
    • 5+ years of continuous, focused experience in the build, customization, and publishing of Tableau interactive reports, visualizations, dashboards, and stories of business data.
    • For the project implementation role, you will need to have a minimum of one full lifecycle implementation of your core module
    • Advanced proficiency in working with transactional data and combining data from multiple source systems
    • Strong knowledge and understanding of relational and dimensional database structures, theories, principles, and practice.
    • Demonstrated ability to understand new datasets and data structures.
    • Strong understanding of basic statistics 
    • Experience with business/financial reporting processes
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Strong drive to excel professionally, and to guide and motivate others
    • Advanced written and verbal communication skills
    • Dedicated, innovative, resourceful, analytical, and able to work under pressure
    • Experience with Netsuite, Salesforce, Workday data
    • Life sciences / Biotech sector experience
