We are seeking to add a detail driven, inventive creator to our Supply Chain Analytics Team as a Sr Data Analyst.  This role calls for an individual ready to engineer data solutions from existing and new sources to support the operational backbone of the Supply Chain Organization.  The data analyst will work closely with supply chain operations, finance, and sales to provide data-driven support through daily and long-term transformation projects.  The insights provided will have a direct impact on the success of the transformation, processes and system implementations, process improvement tracking and daily supply chain operational performance.  The dynamic environment provides the perfect setting for someone who thrives while taking the lead and working on new and complex projects.

A day in the life of a Sr Data Analyst Global Supply Chain:

  • Create end-to-end data solutions that are accurate, timely, efficient, and reproducible throughout the Hasbro Organization.  Ensure data is being transferred correctly and promptly between internal source systems and end user reporting.
  • Gather, transform, and deliver large sets of unstructured data into clean structured information for analysis, decision-making, and reporting.
  • Support existing and develop new reports and dashboards in Power BI.  Work independently to design, author, and implement these applications and reports using a thorough business intelligence and analytical tool expertise. Reverse-engineer existing reporting to create efficiencies and learn new techniques.
  • Collaborate with global operations and commercial teams, analytics, and IT on new data sources and more efficient views of existing sources.  Develop appropriate connections between previously unconnected sources to bring new data into current models.
  • Continually explore tools, languages, and other applications like machine learning to improve working knowledge.  Seek to share and take advantage of learnings and implement improvements to our Global Supply Chain Analytics Team.

What you’ll bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 5+ years’ experience in data engineering, optimization, visualization, and analytics.
  • Success in ETL implementation.  Proven ability to take large scale data sets and extract, transform, and load them into accurate and usable sources for reporting and analysis.
  • Working knowledge of advanced Excel capabilities including topics like PowerQuery, VBA, application macros, and automation.
  • Experience with PowerBI desktop and online data manipulation tools such as Dataflows, PowerQuery, DAX and SQL coding, or similar tool experience.
  • Familiarity with Data Visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, etc.
  • Project management capabilities, including ability to coordinate many projects and prioritize a variety of incoming requests in a team environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal interpersonal skills, including experience working and collaborating with business partners and senior leaders in an international environment.
