About This Role

As the Senior Director of Data Science & Analytics, you will play a key role in developing advanced marketing measurement capabilities that unlock our company vision to transform the measure of marketing success.  You’ll be at the forefront of delivering differentiated marketing measurement solutions focused on maximizing profitable enterprise revenue and future customer value.  You will be responsible for advancing data science & advanced analytics as capabilities including defining the right organization, tools & tech, process and governance needed to meet the measurement needs of our teams & clients.  You’ll identify and deliver against opportunities to leverage modeling, analytics & reusable tools to increase the speed & accuracy of data-driven decisions for our teams and unlock revenue streams for Ovative through service offerings in partnership with our consulting team.  You will create an inclusive culture that inspires and motivates the team as well as attracts new, diverse talent to the organization.

Role Responsibilities

  • Lead high-performance teams, including data science & advanced analytics, and be responsible for your team’s productivity, operational excellence and business impact
  • Responsible for leading the development and deployment of cutting-edge machine learning models, data science tools, & advanced analytics, including incrementality testing & customer analytics, aimed at driving client value across multiple business verticals
  • Partner closely with Engineering and Product Management to support development and implementation of innovative measurement solutions & products
  • Recruit & retain outstanding diverse data science talent by fostering an inclusive culture that inspires & motivates and by providing mentoring, training and other opportunities for professional development
  • Assist with business development as needed, including RFP response and sales presentations
  • Provide client and client development support as needed
  • Build strong relationships across the organization to understand internal stakeholder needs and build trust across the organization

Role Requirements

  • 10+ years of related work experience in data science, analytics, or related field
  • Accomplished leader with 4+ years managing data science & advanced analytics teams in a product-centric organization
  • Expertise in development & applications of marketing & customer measurement (e.g. MMM, MTA, diminishing returns, forecasting, LTV, segmentation, etc.) needed and experience in AI, machine learning & statistical tools preferred
  • High level of business acumen with experience in digital & traditional marketing
  • Demonstrated ability to attract and retain top, diverse talent and develop high performing, engaged teams
  • Ability to communicate clearly and lead discussions with technical and non-technical stakeholders, including clients & executives
