Lovepop is on a mission to create one billion magical moments and be the best place in the world for hungry, creative problem-solvers. We were first introduced to America on Shark Tank in December 2015 and we have been on a rocket ship ride ever since. We are hiring a Sr. Manager of Business Analytics to be the first member of our business analytics team. This role is best suited for someone who has previously excelled at catalyzing growth through leading cross-functional analytics initiatives in a fast-paced D2C environment.

What you'll do here:

    • Lead the execution of cross-functional analytics initiatives - owning the complete project lifecycle (business case development, prioritization, scoping, implementation, measurement, analyzing ROI, monitoring, and continuous improvement). Examples include understanding and then optimizing customer LTV, shipping performance, and pricing.
    • Proactively discover opportunities to maximize top and bottom-line growth throughout Lovepop’s sales channels and supply chain.
    • Establish processes and procedures for the business analytics team (stakeholder management, project management, quality assurance, prioritization, etc.).
    • Effectively communicate results (supported by high-quality dashboards and reports) to enact change across the organization.
    • Hire and develop a team of high-caliber business analysts as needed. Initially, this role is a 100% individual contributor, but as Lovepop grows and scales you will need to expand team bandwidth through bringing on and enabling A+ quality talent.
    • Develop a close working relationship with the Data Analytics team to drive the creation of useful, scalable data sets to be used throughout the organization.

What you'll bring to the table:

    • 3+ years of experience working with high-growth D2C companies from a management consulting, finance, or business analytics role, 5+ years preferred.
    • Expert level experience using a BI Tool to leverage datasets to extract data-driven insights and create concise, scalable dashboards (we use Sigma Computing)
    • Ability to synthesize analysis requirements from a discussion, and drive results to stakeholders in both an iterative partner-based model, and a formal presentation-based model.
    • Ability to define projects in terms of business outcomes, appropriately scope them, and marshal people both within and outside your team into the successful delivery of them.
    • Ability to take an active role in bringing the right agenda and people into the room as well as actively leading the group discussion to arrive at the best outcome.  Executive-level written and verbal communication skills.
    • Entrepreneurial and detailed mindset, with a bias for customer-focused innovation, leveraging data wherever possible.
    • BA/BS in a quantitative discipline such as economics, finance, computer science, or mathematics required, MA/MS preferred.

You'll be great if you have:

    • Experience modeling and optimizing pricing for both physical products and services in an e-commerce environment.
    • Have a deep understanding of e-commerce metrics (AOV, CVR, etc.) and have a proven track record of synthesizing this data with other customer data to identify opportunities to maximize LTV.
    • Built models for assessing the impact of shipping expectations and costs shown to customers with the goal of maximizing sales opportunity and minimizing costs.
    • Intermediate knowledge of SQL or a willingness to learn.

Lovepop is headquartered in Boston, MA, however, is embracing work remotely across the US.
