Primary Function:

  • Zoro Tools is hiring a Sr Marketing Analyst - A/B Testing located in Buffalo Grove, Illinois or remote. Our Buffalo Grove office is accessible via Metra/Pace from Chicago to Antioch (North Central Services).
  • We are looking for entrepreneurial-minded talent that thrives in a high-growth, fast-paced,  collaborative environment and embraces a “fail-fast and learn” mentality.
  • The Senior Analyst will combine knowledge of digital marketing and the ecommerce retail industry as well as understanding of web analytics platforms to produce actionable insights and make data-driven recommendations for the organization.  
  • The Senior Analyst will help development and execute fact-based testing, and apply expertise linking a variety of disparate data sources including web, transactional, and third-party data to produce business insights, dashboards, standardized reports, statistical models and customer segmentation that will be presented to business stakeholders and company leadership. 


Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Execute testing, review results to generate meaningful, actionable interpretations,  Communicate and present to colleagues and executives
  • Assist in analytic projects that uncover actionable customer insights to guide short-term and long-term acquisition and retention efforts.
  • Test campaigns, analyze key metrics, and identify opportunities to increase performance
  • Develop insights on relevant web purchase behavior, customer onsite search behavior, customer segments, customer journey, and purchasing trigger points. 
  • Assist the customer acquisition and customer experience teams with A/B and Multivariate testing.

Qualifications:

  • 3-6 years of experience in A/B testing, digital marketing analytics, and/or e-commerce analytics.
  • Represent complex information in easily understood visualization (including Looker, Sheets, Tableau, Excel, powerpoint, etc.).
  • Ability to communicate clearly to executives, channel owners, business stakeholders, and contributing to projects and meetings
  • Strong business acumen in finance, marketing, statistics, or project management.
  • Ability to understand business problems, develop hypothesis, design tests and learn 
  • Experience with data manipulation languages is required (SQL, R, Python, etc.).
  • Experience interacting directly with user experience, onsite search, merchandising, and/or digital marketing teams is desired. 
  • Familiarity with visualization tools and methodology (Looker, Power BI, Tableau).
  • Knowledge of Google Adwords, Google Doubleclick, Google Ads Data Hub, GA360, DV360, or contentsquare is a plus.
  • Academic background in analytics, statistics, marketing, business, or related field. Undergraduate college degree required; MA or MBA preferred 
  • Self-driven, flexible and able to adapt to changing priorities; constantly looking for ways to learn, improve, and innovate.
  • A strong passion for data, charts, analysis, trends, and evangelizing data usage.
