We are looking for a Manager / Sr. Manager, People Analytics. This key team member will be one of the early members of the People Analytics team and will help us build and execute against the People Analytics vision, roadmap, and strategy. The ideal candidate will be someone who is comfortable being hands-on to execute against key priorities to support the build of a People Analytics function as well as act as a thought partner to ensure we are building the right data infrastructure and analytics solutions that are critical to Lacework’s business and People leaders. The People Analytics Manager/Sr. Manager will partner closely with the People team, Tech/GTM/G&A business leaders, Finance and other cross-functional teams to build dashboards, conduct hands-on analysis, synthesize insights, interpret results, and provide insights and recommendations that enable Lacework leadership to make informed talent decisions. We are looking for an individual who feels comfortable in ambiguity and is excited by the prospect of a challenge in a fast-growing company. 

The Role:

  • Collaborate with business and people leadership to understand people-related business problems, synthesize insights, and recommend actions related to employee voice/engagement, performance, retention, compensation/benefits, and diversity & inclusion. 
  • Design and develop analytical solutions (dashboards, presentations, models) that provide insights into key people metrics such as headcount, attrition, and D&I.
  • Support build of the People Analytics reporting infrastructure. Define short and long-term roadmap and criteria for prioritization and assessing tradeoffs. 
  • Connect insights across multiple sources of data (i.e. HRIS, employee surveys, external benchmarks) across the employee lifecycle to answer complex problems.
  • Partner with key cross-functional teams (i.e. Data Engineering, HRIS, Finance) to standardize and implement analytics solutions and improve processes that impact people data.
  • Support design, implementation, and analysis of key surveys (i.e. engagement, onboarding, exit)
  • Partnering with DE to define how people data is stored, structured, and maintained.
  • Manage and deliver on-going analytics and reporting (i.e. monthly/quarterly business reviews, engagement survey results, quarterly board of directors update).
  • Ensure on-going accuracy, consistency, and compliance of people metrics retention and sharing. Responsible for data quality, on-going audits, data compliance, and procedures to handle and manage sensitive data.

Qualifications:

  • BA/BS with 5+ years of experience with People Analytics or related focused on using data to uncover insights and drive action.
  • Experience in scoping analytics projects/dashboards, visualization techniques, and analysis approaches in which you manage and analyze structured and unstructured data.
  • Knowledge of statistical analysis (e.g., descriptive statistics and understanding of statistical significance testing) and experience synthesizing and interpreting data.
  • Ability to communicate statistical analyses results and implications to technical and non-technical audiences at all levels of the business.
  • Ability to independently execute against ill-defined projects and operate in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Tableau, SQL, and Excel/Google Sheets (complex formulas).
  • Understanding of the People data model/flow as it relates to relationship between HR systems and data warehouse (i.e. integrations, dependencies, data models)
  • Preferred: Experienced in survey design, development, and analysis.
  • Preferred: Experience using statistical modeling techniques and proficiency with a statistical language (e.g., Python, R).
  • Preferred: Previous experience on a growing People Analytics team within the Tech industry.
