The Role in Brief:

Analyst, Incentive Compensation

The Compensation team works with senior executives, HR business partners and key stakeholders across the firm to develop compensation programs and guidelines. The compensation team is currently seeking a candidate to fill the position of Analyst, Incentive Compensation (formal title within EAB is expected to be ‘Systems Analyst, Incentive Compensation’). This newly added role will join the compensation team in supporting the technical design, implementation, and management of commission systems (Xactly) and processes.

This role will be based in either Richmond, VA, or Washington, D.C., or remote within the United States.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Execute system configuration changes and solutions for the business requirements
  • Execute on system enhancements to continuously improve the end-user experience and drive incentive compensation management (ICM) utilization
  • Contribute to the design, development, review, and maintenance of the commission configurations, analytical reports, and workflows for the commission systems
  • Use SQL to translate reporting needs and integrate data various systems
  • Define and develop key data analytics support systems/processes required to meet the rapid growth of the business
  • Provide support on small-to-medium scale technical projects/initiatives that require cross-functional collaboration
  • Develop relationships and processes with sales, HR, sales operations, and other stakeholders to identify and address key issues

Basic Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of full-time business and financial analysis experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent additional professional experience
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel
  • Intermediate knowledge of SQL
  • Ability to handle multiple projects under tight timelines
  • Ability to work comfortably with technical and non-technical individuals
  • Ability to consistently meet deadlines, and provide well-vetted reporting and business recommendations
  • Ability to develop new ideas and creative solutions
  • Willingness to learn how to use new tools, techniques, and skills
  • Discretion in handling sensitive firm, department, and individual compensation and performance information

Ideal Qualifications:

  • Working knowledge of sales commission plans and compensation processes
  • Experience with working with data visualization tools such as Oracle OBIEE or Tableau
  • Highly organized, with multi-tasking skills and the ability to operate in ambiguous environments
  • Exposure working with Salesforce, SteelBrick CPQ, or similar enterprise software
  • Ability to synthesize business issues into technical solutions and to document and execute system requirements
  • In-depth understanding of the movement of sets of data, master systems, and downstream systems and the way data sets are related to one another
