A bit about this role: 

Devoted Health is rapidly expanding the Medicare product portfolio across the country and is looking for an energetic and curious analyst to join our team. The Analyst, Market Intelligence and Product Performance will dive into market performance data in current and potential new markets to turn competitive insights into strategies for growth.  

This role offers a tremendous opportunity for growth and development, with a high level of visibility with leadership across the organization. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate analytical thinking and an aptitude in translating data into actionable tactics that impact our market entry and ongoing performance strategies.

Responsibilities will include:

    • Partner with the Senior Manager to conduct comprehensive analytics of marketplace trends and competitor performance, and present objective, meaningful insights in concise and compelling ways
    • Create dashboards to automate reporting and generate insights that will allow management to quickly and accurate understand the competitive landscape in current and prospective markets, as well as drivers of our performance in existing markets
    • Develop a deep understanding of market and competitive data (CMS enrollment and plan files, competitor plan designs, hospital data, etc)Provide input that will be used at a strategic level to drive product development and prioritization determinations
    • Work cross functionally with key stakeholders to provide ad hoc analytic support and recommendations
    • Use tools such as SQL, Periscope, Looker and G Suite to work efficiently at scale

Desired skills and experience:

    • Bachelor’s degree; preferably in a quantitative discipline
    • 0-2 years experience working in an analytical role
    • SQL experience in a business environment (internship and/or full time employment) required
    • Logical and critical thinker excited by translating data insights into actionable strategies
    • Interest in learning about the healthcare industry and medical claims analytics
    • Preferred: Experience with BI tools such as Looker, Tableau, Power BI
