A bit about this role:
We are looking for a Clinical Data Analyst who will be focused on business intelligence for our clinical operations teams. We’re looking for someone who deeply cares about healthcare and knows how to measure health outcomes. This role will work within our clinical team and will report to our Head of Clinical Development, helping us to understand how our members are doing and what we can do to help them.
Responsibilities will include:
- Analysis of clinical operations such as engagement, capacity utilization, productivity, among others
- Analysis of medical group panel performance such as utilization metrics, referral and authorization patterns, cost outliers, variation analysis, real-time tracking of clinical touchpoints, among others
- Evaluation of clinical programs against outcome measures
- Reporting and dashboards related to the above
- Communicating results to an audience of mixed technical and clinical backgrounds
- Working with different stakeholders, such as data engineering, product, and clinical leadership
Required skills and experience:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment
- 3+ years of technical work in healthcare
- Prior experience at a Medicare Advantage plan preferred
- Experience (and comfort) with SQL in cloud data warehouse environments (Snowflake, BigQuery)
- Experience with data visualization and dashboarding
- You believe that data is a team sport
Bonus skills and experience:
- Experience with version control software (Git)
- Looker experience
