About the Role 


Part of the mission of the Sales Operations team is to enable continuous optimization by documenting and suggesting enhancements in customer engagement and sales performance workflows in order to improve efficiency.  This role will be critical in providing insights and tool suggestions to support execution and optimization of these workflows. As a member of the team, you will be working with sales, product, operations and business intelligence team members and leadership to define and implement our strategy for delivering on this mission. As an analyst in sales process management, the ideal candidate will bring a passion for building, curiosity for problem solving, and a collaborative approach to everything they do. Working closely with cross functional teams on overall sales strategy, day to day sales processes and solving Shift’s most critical challenges will be key aspects in this role.  With over $300 million in newly raised capital, Shift is poised for aggressive growth over the next few years and our Analyst, Sales Process Management will be a vital member of our future success! 

Responsibilities

  • Develop and refine SOP documents for various sales positions and customer engagement workflows.
  • Proactively identify opportunities in process workflows through analysis of current execution, customer needs, and market comparisons; driving sales and product recommendations to improve upon workflows in place.
  • A/B test solutions to enhance business and sales performance through continuous improvement, refined KPIs, and report progress towards goals to management.
  • Determine proper sales tools to create reporting that identifies trends, determines root-causes, and provides strategic insights on sales and business performance for each sales role. 
  • Manage partnerships with Sales, Product, Operations, and other key business leaders to influence opportunities for improvement as well as strategic vision for growth 
  • Become an analytics/data subject matter expert by developing perspectives on key customer behaviors, customer interactions with our services and key sales/customer touchpoints. 

Requirements

  • 3+ years of sales operations experience, preferably with a focus on sales process analysis to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • You are highly analytical and data-driven -- you can execute on complex analyses, suggest areas of opportunity, and define, measure and report on performance across multiple KPIs (sales, operations, etc.) while working cross-functionally to deliver results.
  • Experience with CRM(s), BI tooling, data analysis techniques and process mapping software (Salesforce/Hubspot; Tableau/Periscope/Looker;  Microsoft Visio/LucidChart, etc.)
  • Detail oriented and expert in both qualitative and quantitative analysis with a passion for delivering actionable insights to key stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with great meeting time management, and people skills.
  • Ability to lead and execute a project from start to finish with independence, creative thinking, and resourcefulness, with a desire to roll up your sleeves and get any job done.
  • Collaborative contributor who enjoys having fun at work, loves a challenge and wants to grow professionally.
