As a Director of Analytics, you’ll be managing our data analysis capabilities that supports efforts across the organization from product, to client success, to data partnerships & operations. You’ll be the analytics leader at TrueData managing a team of data analysts and scientists to supercharge growth for TrueData. You’ll work closely with internal and external stakeholders to scope and develop requirements and work against a roadmap.

What you’ll do

  • Lead and define the vision and strategy for the quantitative analytics team across data analytics & data science
  • Collaborate with client success, data partnerships, product, growth, and engineering teams to create a roadmap for all teams supporting business needs in alignment with our priorities and OKRs
  • Partner closely with leadership and business stakeholders as a trusted and influential evangelist to identify important questions, define key metrics, cultivating a data driven decision making culture
  • Design and implement analytics solutions that enable consistency & scalability with cross-functional teams
  • Manage a team of data analysts to define, prioritize, deliver and communicate metrics & analyses across the business, including senior executives
  • Mentor team on strategic analyses & career growth, and be a talent magnet that retains and attracts top talent

What we’re looking for:

  • Degree in business, computer science, statistics, applied mathematics or other quantitative field
  • 3+ years of experience as a hands-on manager of a data science/analytics team
  • 5+ years of experience providing business analytics support for the executive team
  • Focus on data driven decision making and learning by experimentation
  • Experience in working with partners and clients.
  • Expertise with analytics tools, data visualization, SQL, R, or Python, Databricks as applied to data science and analytics
  • Deep knowledge of data models, experimental design, and execution
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Impressive presentation and communication skills.
  • Ability to create structure in ambiguous situations and design effective processes.
  • Bias for action.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams (e.g. Technology, Product, Marketing, Sales)
