Headway is growing fast and we’re hiring our first Marketing Analytics Engineer! You'll help us establish the core data models and reporting needed to optimize our marketing efforts and understand their impact.

You will:

• Be the first dedicated marketing analytics hire on the Data Team
• Become a trusted strategic partner to our Marketing Team, define the roadmap for our marketing analytics infrastructure, and create source-of-truth data models for marketing performance
• Integrate marketing data sources into the data warehouse, build data models in dbt/Looker, and help implement data products in day-to-day marketing operations
• Help Marketing run, assess, and optimize channels and experiments
• Help set standards, define, and improve our early data infrastructure and team operating system

You will love this role if…

• You are a data generalist with a demonstrated history (ideally 2+ years) of building data models and products, and completing strategic analyses in partnership with marketing stakeholders
• You’re opinionated about marketing analytics, understand the trade-offs between different attribution models, and the core metrics and models used to optimize marketing performance
• You have experience working in a modern data stack (bonus points if you’ve worked with dbt and Looker), are opinionated about how data flows through them, can write complex SQL with ease, and have used python or R in ad hoc analyses or infrastructure development
