Our Research and Measurement team is looking for an AI Engineer. The Research and Measurement team experiments with and develops cutting-edge statistical techniques to power Amplify’s instruction and assessments programs. The AI Engineer is crucial for integrating sophisticated AI technologies, including generative AI, into our products and internal processes.
What You'll Do
AI Solutions Engineering: Develop and implement cutting-edge AI solutions to augment our product suite, focusing on functionality and efficiency.
Machine Learning Implementation: Design and deploy intricate machine learning models to address complex challenges, contributing to product development and strategy.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with diverse teams including learning scientists, data scientists, content experts, product managers, and engineers.
Technical Communication: Effectively communicate AI concepts and implementations to diverse audiences; create clear and understandable technical documentation.
Innovation and Growth: Stay current with AI advancements and integrate these into our models and strategies.
Knowledge Sharing: Help other teams at Amplify understand generative AI's applications and limitations.
Basic Qualifications of the Artificial Intelligence Engineer:
A MS degree in Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning, or related field with a strong programming background.
3+ years of experience in AI and software development in a commercial environment.
Demonstrated experience in applying AI solutions to a variety of problem domains.
Proficiency in languages like Python, Java, R, etc.
Proven experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow, and similar machine learning frameworks is essential.
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, etc.) for AI development and deployment, and with devops tooling.
Strong ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
Demonstrated ability to work in small teams, independently, creatively, with a “can-do” attitude.
Understanding of ethical implications of AI, including fairness, accountability, data privacy concerns, especially as they pertain to educational environments
Preferred Qualifications of the Artificial Intelligence Engineer:
PhD in a relevant field.
Advanced proficiency in deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, etc.).
Experience in applying AI and machine learning in real-world scenarios.
Exposure to or knowledge of the education sector or EdTech industry.
What we offer:
Salary is only one component of the Amplify Total Rewards package, which includes a lucrative 401(k) plan, competitive health insurance and mental health options, basic life insurance, paid time off, parental leave, and access to best-in-class development programs. The gross annualized salary range for this role is $150,000 - $175,000. This role is eligible to receive an annual discretionary bonus that rewards individual and company performance.
