The Amplify Data Analytics and Data Governance team is looking for a part-time data coordinator. This role will assist a team of data analysts design, develop, and distribute data that provides insight into business performance and highlights areas to improve operations. You are contributing in the design, development, and implementation of analytical approaches and methodologies as well as the delivery mechanisms for data produced. The quality and efficacy of data produced in this role is paramount and we will look to you to help develop and adhere to quality control processes to ensure data integrity.  To do well in this role you need a very fine eye for detail, experience as a data analyst, and a deep understanding of popular data analysis tools and databases.This is a part-time role, ideal for a student in a graduate degree program of study.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with department manager, key partners, and subject matter experts to define project scope, refine business requirements, and complete project deliverables within deadlines

  • Coordinate and prioritize multiple projects in a fast paced environment to deliver analyses that inform business decisions across a department of ~150 people

  • Assist in building project artifacts such as user stories, business requirements, and process flowcharts

  • Execute external QA to ensure data fidelity in software development projects 

  • Execute internal QA to identify questions or concerns with reports produced by the Data Analytics team

  • Manage and improve existing reporting systems and methodologies

  • Analyze problems and work with data analysts to determine their root causes

  • Stay up-to-date and quickly obtain proficiency in new technologies and tools, as needed, to meet business needs

 

Basic Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, economics, computer science, management information systems, or related field or equivalent related experience

  • Proficiency in statistics, data analysis, and research methods

  • Demonstrated knowledge of and skill in word processing, spreadsheet, and database PC applications

  • Solid experience using:

    • G Suite

    • Google Sheets (auto-populate dynamically from multiple data sources, develop advance formulates, Google App Scripts for spreadsheet automation)

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with technologies and tools such as:

    • Salesforce/NetSuite

    • Tableau

  • Understanding of database architecture and proficient in writing SQL queries

  • Experience in building reports and dashboards using Tableau and/or Looker

  • Familiarity with data structures and reporting: Salesforce and/or NetSuite

  • Developing software and data models

  • Process oriented with great documentation skills
