The Operational Analytics department within GRM U.S. Insights & Solutions is actively searching for a highly motivated Asst Dir, (STP), Advanced Analytics to join the team with an initial focus on Operations Support Analytics. In the near term, this position will be the analytical lead for operational teams that provide support throughout the GRM US value chain. This role will also serve as a point of contact to help manage and coordinate all the analytical work with multiple stakeholders in the Operations function. This person will be required to frame and answer operational and strategic questions from senior management and executive leadership. The ideal candidate possesses advanced analytical abilities and will be able to work collaboratively & independently.
Responsibilities
- Develops analyses based on complex data for a particular business unit/function.
- Quantifies the competitive performance of the business, evaluates potential operational changes, and designs new approaches and methodologies to solve business problems or improve analytical efficiency.
- Produces meaningful observations and recommendations through synthesizing data from internal and external sources. Utilizes advanced statistical techniques. May regularly utilize, update and adapt predictive modeling tools and/or focus on the application of the tools.
- Leads own work stream and may manage multiple research projects of moderate to high complexity.
- Conducts modeling/analytical work which directly impacts profitability, growth, and/or customer satisfaction outcomes.
- Presents findings / recommendations and leads discussions with senior leadership (VP/SVP) at the department or functional level.
- Serves as a resource to less experienced analysts
