Come join our Business Operations team

Our Business Operations team is committed to being a central hub around our systems, people, and processes to ensure we have what is necessary for the organization to function efficiently. Working with a variety of internal teams, as well as directly with clients, we are responsible for making sure all parties have the data and information necessary to support decisions during this stage of high-growth and scale.

What you will do

As a Business Operations & Strategy Associate, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to establish a metric-focused process foundation to help Karat continue scale. You will work on a variety of critical initiatives, conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis, and build and define core processes that further company strategy and global impact.

The ideal candidate is at the intersection of strong strategic and analytical thinking combined with leadership skills to drive change. This candidate will demonstrate quick learning and a history of driving results. Most importantly, the candidate will deliver through strong relationships and use excellent communication to reach alignment across teams, keep projects on track, create an inclusive culture, and have fun.

  • Act as the strategic thought partner to various members of the business
  • Execute operational and strategic initiatives by developing work plans, gathering/synthesizing relevant data, leading analyses, and developing recommendations
  • Develop deep understanding of key value drivers, identifying improvement areas and market opportunities
  • Serve as the connective tissue of a cross-functional team (including Product Management, Engineering, Marketing, Sales and Business Development), working to share knowledge and drive people towards a common goal

The experience you will bring

  • 3-5 years of professional experience in analytics, business operations or business intelligence
  • Experience with executive-level engagement as a business, operational, and strategic thought partner
  • Strong written and verbal communicator, with professional working proficiency in English and deep familiarity with the business, economic and cultural environments across the Americas region
  • Working familiarity with data analysis, SQL, and Salesforce
  • Experience building complex models and conducting sophisticated analyses and dashboards

This is a full-time, salaried position. Immigration sponsorship is not available.

Karat is a remote company with employees throughout the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom. For this position, we are only considering individuals based in the United States.
