About the Business Analyst Role:

A Business Analyst within Professional Services, Technical Delivery team is responsible for supporting delivery objectives through analysis of the requirements and current state, researching filling gaps, and documenting go-forward plan with leadership. The Business Analyst is the principal to deliver gap analysis and proposals, manage the status of program goals (both development, accelerators, and PS enhancement needs). In this role, you are part of the organization responsible for driving a successful customer implementation, setting the underlying foundation of their OpenGov ERP suite, while promoting the maximum value of that investment.

As a trusted advisor to the implementation team, you will analyze use cases, collaborate, define and deliver solutions. As your product knowledge broadens, you will work on more complex workflows and solutions. As a result, you'll immerse yourself in both our internal operations and the user experience to be able to impartially advocate for OpenGov development, implementation and our customers.

Business Analyst Responsibilities:

• Be the technical point of contact for team members when building out new technical development (Accelerators).
• Drive and manage third-party research from start to finish. 
• Confirm customer requirements and needs, and provide guidance, assistance, and support to Integration Consultants as Accelerators are developed.
• Ensure receipt of appropriate resources from customers, match them to the build structure.
• Document the Accelerators and provide administer training.
• Understand customer pain points and partner with cross-functional teams to simplify, enhance and automate existing processes that will improve customer workflow.
• Work closely with Project Management, Customer Success Management, and Integration management teams to facilitate and drive a consistent customer experience, ensuring successful projects and training for new customers.
• Leverage and continually develop best practices for each data environment and customer vertical to assist in future implementation efficiencies.
• Compliment key product discussions by gathering and communicating customer feedback and feature requests to ensure OpenGov is a “must-have solution.”

Minimum Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in Financial Management System implementation and change management associated with implementing new systems
• 3+ years of experience in software implementation consulting or transferrable work
• Knowledge and experience documenting and assessing process flows
• Experience with government budgeting, purchasing, and reporting concepts and practices and/or procurement, finance, budgeting solutions.
• Knowledge and experience in analyzing and reporting large volumes of data.
• Excellent interpersonal skills including verbal and written communication skills, teamwork, and solutioning mentality.
• Strong Excel skills, including using functions/ formulas to format data such as v-lookup, pivot tables, error-checking, and developing properly formatted reports.
• Track record of working in a fast-paced environment while balancing internal procedures and process improvements, all while collaborating with team members.
•Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing product and respond strategically to customer needs.
•Passion for solving customer problems and joy from data management ETL tools, ETL report creation, macros, and visual basic.
