We are looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst to join our team. You will report to the Manager, Business Intelligence & Analytics. You will empower our organization by increasing access to data and delivering essential dashboards that answer important questions and guide strategic decisions.
You will work with our sales, marketing, customer success and operations teams. Working as an analytics subject matter expert, you will enhance our reporting capacities and collaborate with our business partners to reduce manual work in addition to supporting them in using data-driven insights in their roles. You will directly affect BenchSci's growth as a company, and that excites you!
BenchSci is a remote-first organization. At this moment, we are welcoming applicants from Canada for this position.
You Will:
- Collaborate with our partners to understand their challenges and provide solutions
- Develop dashboards to answer key business questions and measure KPI and metric performance
- Provide coaching to partners on using BI tools and interpreting metrics to empower them to answer their questions and understand performance
- Execute analytical tasks, including modelling data in DBT, approving code in GitHub, data source management and conducting quality ensure testing
- Recommend reporting/visualization best practices to support teams
- Collaborate with the entire business intelligence and analytics team to implement best practices for reporting
- Present, articulate, and explain insights, and findings.
- Work autonomously to achieve our outcomes and manage your timelines, prioritizing between planned analytics projects and ad-hoc data requests.
You Have:
- 1+ years experience with data visualization and business intelligence tools (Tableau)
- Comfortable with SQL
- Background in translating our goals into technical requirements
- Comfortable explaining complex analysis to all audiences
- Passionate about analytics best practices
