About the Role

You’ll develop and own an end-to-end dashboarding environment at Caribou that informs our leaders and the company broadly on business performance. You’ll work with our Data Engineering team on the data model to support the dashboarding environment, and with stakeholders on what visualizations and requirements are needed. You’ll ensure dashboards are a first class product citizen, complete with support, release notes, and other product management best practices. This role will:

• Set the business intelligence vision for Caribou by leveraging best practices from data-driven industry leaders
• Act as the single point of contact and owner for our dashboarding environment
• Identify and analyze areas of opportunity and improvement in our current dashboarding environment and develop a plan to implement those changes
• Collaborate with Data Engineering to structure an effective data model for the dashboards that allows for pages to load quickly and for team members to be able to access self-service analytics
• Collaborate with Analytics team members and representatives from other cross-functional teams to establish requirements and desired visualizations

About You

• You like fast paced startup environments that operate at speed and are well practiced at moving quickly and proactively
• You’ve worked in an analytical capacity responsible for designing and delivering reports and dashboards to senior management
• You excel at managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders
• You know enough about data models and transformation to provide input to data engineering counterparts
• You have a knack for visualizing complex problems
• You have experience with Metabase or a similar BI tool that acts as a UI on top of a database
