Job Description

A bit more about this role:

Devoted Medical is a virtual-first provider organization. As a Clinical Productivity Operations Associate you will help our service lines effectively deploy our virtual and in-home clinical teams. You will have the opportunity to help us optimize capacity planning and improvement initiatives across our rapidly scaling clinical service lines. 

You will work closely with the Senior Program Manager, Clinical Productivity and each of our service line leaders to help us build and manage forecasts and capacity plans, develop and manage to volume targets, and address areas of waste or inefficiency that reduce the number of patients our providers can effectively care for.

This role is critical to improving the Devoted experience for both frontline teams and members alike. 

Responsibilities will include:

  • Enable service lines to achieve utilization goals through conducting time studies, forecasting, scheduling and real time management

  • Develop high quality forecasts and build “what if” scenario models - partner with service line leaders to achieve appropriate staffing levels and performance targets

  • Contribute to the build out and execution of a capacity planning function to further develop this capability within the Devoted Medical organization

  • Monitor weekly and daily contact, visit, and program enrollment volumes, shrinkage, and other critical staffing metrics as measured against forecast & report out on trends and opportunity areas. Work with service line leaders to reallocate resources as necessary 

  • Support service line leaders in scheduling of daily/weekly off queue activities to minimize impact on our productivity (i.e. training, meetings, outbound campaigns, etc.)

  • Build and manage dashboards to monitor daily/weekly/monthly performance reporting

  • Through data and insights, proactively identify key areas of improvement in how service lines operate and how our productivity tools can be a better resource for frontline teams

  • Organize clinical productivity projects and tasks, and establish timelines for completion

  • Support service line leaders in the execution of productivity improvement initiatives

Desired skills & experience:

  • 3+ years of experience driving operational performance improvement with data

  • Fluent in Excel/Google Sheets and building models to support analytics and planning; ability to self-serve data with SQL queries a plus

  • Comfortable using Google Suite to build reports, charts, graphs to conduct analysis and share performance data

  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting/problem solving skills

  • Strong project management and organizational skills

  • Ability to engage with stakeholders (members, colleagues and clinicians) from a variety of backgrounds, organizational levels and cultures

  • Experience with health care provider capacity management a plus

Salary Range: $71,250 - $78,750 annually
