The opportunity:

The Clinical Scheduler and Capacity Analyst is responsible for ensuring that we have a solid operational foundation by supporting sustainable processes and ideating on potential improvements to our membership and clinical experience. This role is the main point of contact for coordinating the schedules for Parsley’s Clinical team including Doctors and Health Coaches. The Capacity Analyst will utilize strong organizational ability and a proactive mindset to ensure effective administrative and scheduling support to our care teams. This role reports to the Health Outcomes Program Manager.

What you’ll do:

  • Support the day-to-day operations of calendaring and scheduling clinical visits and coordinating company wide event scheduling. 
  • Onboard new clinical employees to our scheduling system and serve as the main point of contact for all related questions across the organization related to scheduling.
  • Collaborate with clinicians and health coaches to build and maintain calendars in our scheduling platform. 
  • Work cross functionally with Clinical Operations and People team to coordinate any clinical team changes that impact scheduling. 
  • Specific responsibilities will vary, but may include calendar audits and adjustments, arranging provider coverage, and tactical, one-time projects that directly impact capacity metrics. 
  • Report out on a weekly basis on capacity related metrics such as visit availability, wait times, and clinical time utilization.
  • Review calendar data with an analytical mindset to make ongoing recommendations on how to maximize  capacity for growth and member retention.

What you’ll need:

  • Bachelor’s Degree 
  • At least 2 years of healthcare experience, specifically working directly with a clinical team.
  • Familiarity with scheduling software, such as Acuity and data visualization platforms, such as Looker.
  • Strong communication skills, team player is a must. 
  • Demonstrable attention to detail with a knack for organization and clarity.
  • A focus on details and technology, and a drive to understand how things work. You are meticulous and don’t let anything slip through the cracks. 
  • Experience using data to inform and ultimately solve problems. 
  • A sense of ownership of assigned tasks, and always looking for the best solution with a proactive, continuous improvement mindset.
