This is an engagement through Upwork’s Hybrid Workforce Solutions (HWS) Team. Our Hybrid Workforce Solutions Team is a global group of professionals that support Upwork’s business. Our HWS team members are located all over the world.

Work/Project Scope: 

• Be the strategic partner to Upwork Enterprise Growth team (PM, engineers and UX team), by developing and supporting data-driven initiatives to help make data-informed decisions;
• Define the business metrics related to enterprise product, track its performance, and identify business opportunities;
• Develop frameworks to answer key business questions. Tie data to business needs creatively and proactively to solve complex problems
• Effectively present the findings to different audiences in oral and written languages

Must Haves (Required Skills): 

• Analytics framing: Develop frameworks, analytical approaches, and processes to answer key business questions using automated or repeated reporting
• Advanced SQL + basic knowledge in ETL & data modeling  to define and explain business metrics
• Basic working knowledge of statistics. 
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Experienced in visualization tools such as Looker, Tableau or Power BI
• Strong critical thinking skills and a curiosity to tackle challenging
