Foot Locker is seeking a Data Analyst to join our Global Data function within its Global Technology Solutions (GTS) department. You will support the internal data team as well as business areas such as Marketing, E-Commerce, Product Management, and guide Senior Leadership on global business strategy to do the following:

  • Drive marketing/testing strategy through analytics and actionable recommendations.
  • Perform analysis on Customer demographics, behaviours, and other Customer KPIs.
  • Improve quality of existing data products and sources to increase usage of data in day-to-day business operations.
  • Facilitate improvements/additions to digital data through new tagging requirements.

In doing the above, you will develop strong subject matter expertise in the areas of Digital, Marketing and Customer Analytics, be able to democratize knowledge across the data team and business.

Responsibilities

  • Act as subject matter expert in the areas of attribution, campaign tagging and website feature tracking, providing support in the implementation/analytical use of each.
  • Perform analyses in Adobe Analytics covering numerous dimensions (marketing channels, geos, device types, new vs. repeat, etc.) to measure site health, new on-site features, etc.
  • Leverage clickstream data in both website-specific analytics and as a complement to customer/marketing analyses to attain a full view of the Foot Locker Inc. customer.
  • Design, Measure and Report on A/B/n tests for Website optimization and Email campaigns.
  • Provide recommendations to technical teams on data integrity issues, support investigation and help provide feedback on appropriate fixes.
  • Deliver insights to Senior Leadership around overall business performance and measure Customer KPI’s through a variety of lenses.
  • Perform analyses to understand current customer acquisition and retention trends, as well as factors influencing customer behavior.
  • Use Recency, Frequency, Monetization (RFM) based approaches to provide analyses, dashboards and reports regarding customer health.
  • Other Duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • College degree (Masters preferred) in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, Analytics, Math or equivalent required.
  • 1 year minimum of experience with Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics.
  • 1 year minimum of experience with working with Customer data (KPIs, segmentation, etc.)
  • 1 year minimum of hands-on experience in at least one analytics-oriented programming language such as Python, Scala or R is a plus.
  • Familiarity/experience with digital marketing concepts including SEO, SEM, Email, Display advertising, and other direct response media.
  • Basic knowledge of statistics/statistical methods.
  • Understanding of clickstream data how to use it to perform analysis
  • Experience writing SQL Queries.
  • Familiarity with a Dashboarding solution such as Power BI or Tableau is a plus.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel Skills.
  • You are a self-motivated team player and have the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with both technical and business teams.
