We are looking for an experienced Data Analyst to join our team to help us better leverage our data to make business decisions. This is also a unique opportunity to work for a company whose primary persona is a data analyst. You will be using our product daily as your BI tool and your feedback will help shape the direction of the company.
As our first Data Analyst, you will be responsible for building a strong understanding of our business and key drivers to provide actionable insights to the organization to maximize business results. This is an individual contributor role and will be managing a series of projects from different stakeholders. This role will be reporting directly to the VP, Product & Design.
What you will do:
• Analyze and present data in the form of visual dashboards, slide decks, spreadsheets, etc to key stakeholders, department leaders, leadership, and all hands regularly.
• Leverage Superset, SQL, and dbt to develop dashboards and analyze data in an organized way.
• Work with the product team to analyze product data and help the team both identify and understand the impact of initiatives.
• Gather requirements and build/maintain dashboards for departments and leadership.
• Identify the causal/correlational relationships between business metrics that can be used to optimize business performance.
• Execute initiatives to help drive better data quality measures
What we are looking for:
• 5+ years of experience as a data analyst, preferably in SaaS
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Expert SQL capabilities
• Familiarity with dbt
