As a Product Manager at Preset within our Data Insights team, you are responsible for deeply understanding our user’s personas and their journey and are passionate about building a terrific user experience for them. You understand and prioritize customer and business needs, working closely with engineering and design to define requirements and manage feature delivery. You work cross-functionally with marketing, sales, and support to ensure successful go-to-market execution. You work directly with the Superset open source community to define our contribution to the product in a collaborative way. You know the product inside and out, using data to inform your decision-making.

In addition, you have an innate drive to be successful. As a foundational member of an early-stage startup, you want to take the initiative and solve big problems.

What you will do:
• Drive the vision and roadmap for key product areas including dashboard/chart building experience, data visualization library, and our data exploration experience
• Collaborate closely with the Superset community 
• Manage the product development process from problem identification through solutioning, release, and iteration
• Analyze product data & conduct user and market research - including working with customers and the open-source community - to better understand user needs and the competitive landscape
• Write product plans, detailed requirements, and collaborate on user stories
• Clearly communicate roadmaps, priorities, and decisions across the entire organization

What we are looking for:
• 4+ years relevant product management experience in customer-facing analytics products
• Strong product analytical skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making and passion for data visualization & analytics
• Experience conducting user interviews and distilling research into actionable insights
• Experience leading post-launch optimizations; define and track success metrics, collect user feedback and iterate on the product
• Experience or desire to work closely with an open source community
• A solid understanding of SaaS architectures and the technologies behind modern web applications
