The role requires a Data Analyst – Financial Modeling who can work with the product owner.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  •  Work with product owner and the team to scope & plan changes.
  •  Support well written User Stories based on communication, discussion, meetings.
  •  Support day to day operations, and projects by performing impact analysis, UAT testing, data analysis/lineage, and other technical/business support.
  •  Work with teammates to clarify the requirements and scope and test developed solutions to ensure accurate business outcomes.
  • Create process flows and dependencies for data availability.

REQUIRED SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES

  • An undergraduate degree with a concentration in Accounting, Finance, Real Estate, or Economics.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in commercial real estate, preferably specializing in multifamily asset types.
  • Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel with a deep understanding of financial modeling in commercial real estate (financial analysis of current operations, budgeting, pro forma, underwriting, etc.) Advanced Excel modeling courses will be available and paid for by the company for the right candidate.
  • Ability to interpret basic property level financial statements.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to operate with a high degree of flexibility and to adapt to changing demands.
  • Financial and operating property analytics including : Income statement, balance sheet, cash flow statements, rent rolls, leases, guarantor statements, operation analytics, spreading financial statements, developing proforma statements, reviewing leasing requests, operating agreements, etc.
  • Conduct detailed property-level analyses of tenants/in-place leases, capital projects, operating and financial statements, market and competitive position, and other relevant information.
  • Assist with preparation of property-level business plans and budgets; analyze property performance relative to business plan targets.
  • Assisted and prepare and provide weekly summary reports, property status reports, and quarterly reports while meeting established deadlines.
  • Assistance in creating property reports for presentation to investors.
  • Assist and Prepare Development Plans including, but not limited to:
    • Preparation of Project Schedule 
    • Preparation of Project Proforma 
    • Preparation of Project Description 
    • Preparation of Market Analysis
    • Preparation of Construction Budgets
