Humble Bundle sells games, ebooks, software, and other digital content. Our mission is to support charity while providing awesome content to customers at great prices. We launched in 2010 with a single two-week Humble Indie Bundle, but we have humbly grown into a store full of games and bundles, a subscription service, a game publisher, and more. We have raised $200 million for charity and counting.

Humble Games is Humble Bundle’s game publishing arm.  Humble Games is the result of a shared passion to support indie developers, deliver top-quality content to gamers around the world and continue the Humble mission to be a force for good in the industry and across the globe.

Position Intro:

The Analytics team at Humble Bundle is growing and establishing themselves as trusted leaders in translating data into insights. We are looking for an experienced and proactive data analyst who can provide quantitative analysis, market expertise, and a strategic perspective in order to drive value for our growing publishing business. You will turn business questions into data analysis and then effectively communicate meaningful recommendations on strategy. You will have become familiar with our entire data pipeline - from how data is ingested from raw data sources to how it undergoes transformations into a usable format to applying statistical methods to distill relevant information.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct data analysis to provide actionable insights for our video game titles
  • Create forecasting models for all stages of video game lifecycle from pre-launch to new release to catalog status
  • Segment products with different sales curves to improve model performance
  • Help define and measure Humble Games KPIs and growth goals
  • Stay up to date with competitive market data and apply insights to internal products to predict sales trends
  • Deliver effective presentations of findings and recommendations to key stakeholders
  • Develop reports and dashboards in Tableau and Google Data Studio that can support dynamic and efficient reporting
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders and liaise with Product, Marketing, and Business Development to understand their business needs on all publishing data related matters

Required Experience:

  • 1-3 years experience in analytics role

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • SQL
  • Excel
  • Visualization tool like Tableau or Google Data Studio

Education:

  • Bachelors in quantitative / analytical field

  • Passion for video games is a plus!
