About the Role:

As a Data Analyst Intern, you will work directly with Product Management, Data Engineering, and Data Science teams to understand, connect and correct our business and contact-identification data. The primary objective of this role will be to identify regions of our business and identification data that are of the greatest interest and value to our customers and then to design and assist in implementing scalable solutions that ensure the accuracy and quality of this high-impact data.

You will need good SQL and statistical analysis skills and be able to dive deep into difficult problems and find pragmatic solutions.

What you'll be doing:

  • Work with the Product Management, Data Engineering, and Data Science teams to make data-driven decisions about improving accuracy and coverage in our business datasets.
  • Design and build new dashboards using BI tools to make the insights you discover consumable and actionable to a broader audience.
  • Identify new ways to detect problems before they impact customer experience.
  • Discover opportunities for new features and data sources to drive customer value and engagement within our products.

What we're looking for:

  • Students enrolled in a 4-year college program or graduates who have graduated within the past 6 months.
  • Academic or previous internship experience in data analysis or data science
  • Course work in statistics, mathematics, computer science, or a related field
  • Proficiency in SQL
  • Experience analyzing/curating structured datasets at scale 

Optional/bonus Experience:

  • Exposure to BigQuery, GCP/AWS, Apache Spark, Airflow
  • Scripting skills using Python or Scala
