ABOUT THE ROLE AND OUR TEAM:  

TKWW is looking for a full-time data analyst to join our team of data professionals supporting our international marketplace. This analyst will be embedded into the day to day workings of a product squad. They will partner with the team to make strategic decisions, explore the state of our product, and find opportunities for improvement by analyzing data and developing analytical tools.  They’ll work with product managers to design experiments so that we ensure we are making changes that drive measurable results.  They will be a valued partner and trusted advisor.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide guidance to stakeholders in translating business questions into analytical solutions
  • Attend relevant stakeholder meetings to ensure full cross-functional alignment
  • Maintain a deep understanding of the product, relevant data products, and past experiments and analyses
  • Work with stakeholders to design & analyze A/B testing experiments
  • Analyze data, build basic statistical models, and answer adhoc questions with business impact as a goal
  • Define requirements and build domain specific reports
  • Recognize opportunities for new data products and integrations and work with business partners to implement them
  • Track down data and work with engineers to ensure appropriate tracking is available
  • Communicate, collaborate, and present results to international partners within TKWW

 

SUCCESSFUL DATA ANALYST CANDIDATES HAVE:

  • Excellent communication skills; able to translate technical concepts to non-technical audiences
  • Strong business understanding and ability to translate business problems into analytical solutions
  • Foundational knowledge of statistics including hypothesis testing and regression analysis
  • Hands-on experience with A/B testing experiment design and analysis
  • Advanced knowledge of SQL and ability to write efficient SQL code
  • Ability to code in Python for data manipulation, visualization, and analysis using Jupyter notebooks
  • Basic knowledge of dimensional modeling
  • Advanced Knowledge of Excel (or Google Sheets)
  • 3-5 years of experience
