What you'll be doing:
The talented Data Engineer will join the team that is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data-intensive systems and processing pipelines, operating on large volume datasets.
Key Skills:
- Develop, test, and support data-intensive software products and processing pipelines.
- Play an integral role in the ongoing design and improvement of Ripjar’s large-scale data processing systems.
- Work closely with Data Scientists and Machine Learning Engineers to use data more effectively, and to launch new models into production.
- Work with the Delivery team to provide second and third line support to our customers
- Collaborate with other technical teams to support the efficient analysis of data at scale
The successful candidate should have these skills:

- Proficiency in at least one high-level programming language, preferably Python.
- Experience implementing and supporting data-intensive systems and data processing pipelines.
- Working knowledge of Linux as a development/deployment environment.
- Experience with PySpark, Hadoop or other Big Data technologies.
- Strong communication skills.
- Self-starter, capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
