Our multidisciplinary team of world-class scientists, engineers, and maritime operators is working as fast as possible while the world is burning.
Running Tide is looking for a Data Engineer to design and build data pipelines and storage systems.
You Will:
- Contribute to Running Tide's efforts to predict, verify, and improve the amount of CO2 captured by our systems
- Work closely with our scientists and researchers to provide them easy access to internal and external datasets
- Work with GoogleCloud Platform (GCP)
You Have:
- A desire to fight climate change
- 3+ years of experience writing production-level Python code
- Built data pipelines
- Managed, designed, and/or optimized databases
- Experience with cloud platforms like GCP
Bonus If You Have:
- Worked as part of a distributed team
- Worked with geospatial datasets
- Experience using pandas
- Familiarity with scientific computing
- Developed APIs
