Shipt, Inc. seeks a full-time Data Engineer. Duties include design and build certified data sources to enable self-serve analytics through Business Intelligence reporting tools (e.g., Tableau). This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Science, Information Systems, Electronics Engineering, or a related field (foreign equivalent accepted) and 24 months of experience in Proffered position or similar role (e.g., Business Intelligence Engineer, Data Engineer, Software Engineer). Work experience must also include at least 2 years of experience with the following: (1) SQL (e.g., Snowflake, Postgres, Redshift, DataBricks); (2) At least one statistical scripting language (e.g., R or Python); (3) at least one data visualization tool (e.g., Tableau, Chartio, Looker, Spotfire, Power BI); (4) Airflow or similar orchestration framework; and (5) code-base ownership, including conducting PR review/approval and reviewing and keeping up to date on code standards. Salary: $82,389 to $124,481/year. This position is fully remote and may telecommute from any location in the U.S. Limited travel to company’s offices for work reasons may be needed.
