We’re looking for an experienced Data Engineer who will be responsible for developing and maintaining data processing software like databases. Their duties include coordinating with company Executives and other professionals to create unique data infrastructure, running tests on their designs to isolate errors and updating systems to accommodate changes in company needs.
As part of the engineering team at Trust & Will, you’ll assist us in achieving organizational goals by defining, integrating, and upgrading a comprehensive architecture to support applications, platforms, and databases. You Will

    • Assemble large, complex sets of data that meet non-functional and functional business requirements
    • Identify, designing and implementing internal process improvements including re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability, optimizing data delivery, and automating manual processes  
    • Build required infrastructure for optimal extraction, transformation and loading of data from various data sources using AWS and SQL technologies
    • Build analytical tools to utilize the data pipeline, providing actionable insight into key business performance metrics including operational efficiency and customer acquisition 
    • Work with stakeholders including data & operations, design, product and executive teams and assisting them with data-related technical issues
    • Work with stakeholders including the Executive, Product, Data and Design teams to support their data infrastructure needs while assisting with data-related technical issues 

Requirements

    • Experience with SQL Servers
    • Experience with ETL / ELT
    • Knowledge of data migration
    • Experience with advanced SQL query report building and optimization
    • Experience with data lakes / data platforms
    • Clear oral and written communication skills
    • Empathy both towards team members and our users
    • Knowledge of testing (both automated and manual)
    • Knowledge of security best practices

Nice to have

    • Mongo/Dymo
    • Snowflake. ETL, Fivetran, Python, Business Intelligence (Tableau)
    • Experience with Google Tag Manager and GA instances
    • AWS knowledge - DevOps experience
    • Able to interpret data and analytics and provide feedback on how it ties into project goals
