About the job

This position is needed to build and maintain the People Data Warehouse.

 

In this role, you’ll play a critical role as a technical builder to help maintain and enhance our environment on the People Insights Team.  You’ll be a data builder who can extract, load, and automate the movement of data while ensuring accuracy, confidence, and security.

Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll:

  • Work as a member of the People Insights Team to build and maintain the People Data Warehouse.
  • Use SQL to write and debug complex queries as well as performance tune and manage pre existing scripts using Snowflake.
  • Script in Python to automate data pipelines. 
  • Maintain and create new Matillion workflows.
  • Identify opportunities for environment enhancements.

Required:

  • Strong SQL knowledge
  • Experience with Snowflake or similar database environment
  • Hands on development experience with Matillion or similar ETL/ELT solution
  • Python development experience
  • Ability to ingest data from various sources such as (Databases, API’s, and SFTP, etc)
  • Experience with administering, operating, and maintain AWS infrastructure
  • Ability to operate in ambiguity and use creativity to combat challenges with an inherent curiosity about solving problems

 

Desired:

  • Experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform.
  • Experience working with code repository services such as GitHub or GitLab. 
  • Experience with data pipeline and workflow management tools: Airflow, Control-M, Azkaban, Oozie, Luigi, etc.
  • Experience with Containerization technologies: Docker, Kubernetes, etc.
  • DevOps experience

 

Location

 

This role will be remote  in Colombia or India.
