About the Role:
We are looking for an Engineering Manager to be part of our Enterprise Information Management team to drive, enable and lay the foundations of our data capabilities as we work toward the transformation of our company into a data-driven organization.
This role is primarily focused on the leadership and development of people and enabling our agile teams to successfully execute against their goals. This includes responsibilities for defining, planning, delivering, and supporting the implementation of our modern data platforms to drive business value and growth.
What You Will Do:
- Lead multiple Agile Data Engineering teams to grow and enhance our cloud Enterprise Data Platform
- Guide, coach, and mentor members of Agile teams in the Data Engineering space
- Establish mission and purpose for individuals. Perform career counseling and personal development on a regular basis
- Evaluate individual/team performance, including collecting feedback and providing input, guidance, and/or corrective actions
- Identifies and contributes to opportunities for departmental & team improvements
- Set expectations for accountability, autonomy, and empowerment of team members. Ensure every team member owns the quality of the products produced
- Work with stakeholders to align business needs against team delivery and develop delivery roadmap(s)
- Utilize data and technical expertise to support the development of high-quality, reusable components and solutions.
- Support team members with problem identification, root cause analysis, and decision-making
- Address issues team members cannot unblock
- Participate in Portfolio-level events including Portfolio Reviews, Quarterly Planning, Retrospectives
- Ensure teams are following standards and best practices
- Other duties as assigned
What You Will Need:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and work experience
- Typically, 8+ years with bachelor's or equivalent
- Prior Data Engineering and Agile experience required
- Prior experience as a people manager and/or team lead required
- AWS, Snowflake, and Talend experience preferred
- Managing staff

- Conflict resolution/coaching

Salary range: $82,918.25 – $153,136.92
The salary range reflects the minimum and maximum target for a new hire in this role. Individual pay within the range will be determined by multiple factors which can include but are not limited to a candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and location. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary for your location during the hiring process. Ranges may be modified in the future.
