We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Data Governance & Architecture manager to join our growing team! In that role, the successful candidate will work cross functionally with our Data science, analytics and development teams and business stakeholders to help us drive both quality and utilization of our growing data infrastructure. You'll...

    • define and own master data management and standardization for the entire organization;
    • guide and approve schema definitions for both production environment and data warehouse;
    • manage whitelists for clickstream activities, events and properties;
    • own and publish definition of corporate KPI and key business metrics;
    • provide dashboards, visualization and alerts for main corporate performance metrics;
    • work with Data Engineering team to ensure end-end quality and integrity of data and ensure the timely availability and SLA of metrics data;
    • work with DBA to restructure existing repositories to optimize data access and utilization;
    • analyze data in tables and support analytics and data science teams on data lineage, loading patterns and transformations;
    • work with multiple partners (engineering/ business development/analytics) to onboard new partners and respond to requests on the data in the system;
    • document data pipelines, ETL flows and data architecture;
    • work on performance optimization of queries/processes

    • you have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field;
    • you have 10+ years of related work experience;
    • you have excellent organizational and project management skills;
    • you have strong, proven experience in attending to the needs of the users;
    • in depth experience and proven track record in data modeling and database design;
    • you have deep experience with SQL and DDL and familiar with Python;
    • you demonstrated understanding of data architecture principles;
    • you have an ability to adapt in a fast changing environment, and work well within a cross functional team;
    • comfortable working in a startup culture and agile mode of operation;
    • outstanding communication skills and ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels

Office Location

We are open to hiring remotely for this role. You could also work out of our Toronto, San Francisco or our Mountain View office—you decide!
