About the Role
As a reporting data analyst, you will be part of the data and analytics team driving the change and technical innovation to support internal and external customers and stakeholders with solutions for data and reporting needs, ad-hoc data requests as well as support data engineering and ML pipelines. We look for self-starters who thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment being able to change direction quickly, and showing an eagerness to learn new technologies as the need arises. This position is an individual contributor role and requires hands-on coding and strong development background. In this role you will join the exciting DriveWealth team working on the latest data and analytics technologies.

What You'll Do

  • Support and enhance existing data engineering and ML pipelines primarily using Python and Pyspark.
  • Automate and support data processing and machine learning pipelines.
  • Performance tuning of data engineering and ML jobs
  • Create an end to end fully automated analytics production flow. 
  • Support ad-hoc data and reporting requests for different functional teams
  • Design and development of BI reports and dashboards
  • Enable self-service for internal and external customers and stakeholders
  • Training and Demo of BI reports and dashboards to internal and external customers and stakeholders
  • Documentation of requirements, best practices and standards

What You'll Need

  • 3+ years experience as a data/reporting analyst

  • Python experience is a must

  • ETL experience is a plus 

  • Extensive Knowledge and experience in SQL queries and with different types of  databases

  • In-depth understanding of database structure principles

  • Proficient with Stored Procedures and Functions

  • Extensive experience in developing reports and dashboards using BI tools such as Tableau, Looker, Power BI etc.,

  • Proficient in Excel

  • Ability to take a concept or design and develop solutions quickly and effectively.

  • Works directly and effectively with all internal groups as well as external customers.

  • BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS or similar relevant field.

 

Special Knowledge (Nice To Have, But Not Required)

  • Experience working in the finance industry, understanding of stock trading workflow/architecture.
