We're looking for someone who is excited to join this innovative team. Someone who is self-motivated and a data-nerd at heart but with the alacrity of a salesperson to talk about data in such a way that gets clients excited and interested. We're looking for someone with a background in either sales or management consulting, with particular focus/exposure in data solutions ranging from structured/relational to semi/non structured data. Any experience working with behavioral data is a huge plus.

Day-to-day will be a combination of client demands/interactions and overall sales development. On a macro scale, this person will be in charge of structuring and analyzing data from our various outputs to package them properly for specific client use-cases. Someone who has the ability to synthesize our offering and take a solutions based selling approach to any new business meeting

Responsibilities:
  • We work with customers to leverage consumer behavioral and digital data (delivered both via platform or file-based) to help them achieve their business priorities and help guide their customer analytics 
  • You will be leveraging innovation and cutting edge technology within the market research industry and working for our functional department YouGov Behavioral who leads YouGov with a focus on consumer behavioral data versus traditional survey data
  • Your focus will be to engage with customers and align our data-offering to their industry and collaborate with account and new business teams to qualify new opportunities and build a pipeline for sales growth
  • Your role will be to Identify customer business and technology readiness, proactively build stakeholders' and client relationships, and accelerate the closing of deals specifically for companies looking for unique datasets
Technical Expertise:
  • You have worked in data sales and understand the complexity of respondent level and privacy-first data 
  • Lead conversations and set up meetings related to data sales opportunities, you initiate conversations with prospective customers/partners at events, you act as a subject matter expert in one or more solution area(s)
  • Drive the execution of projects with partners and collaborator both internally and externally on related deliverables, and leverage others in relevant work streams
  • You love data
  • You have a sense of humor 
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field AND 4+ years technology-related sales or account management experience, MBA a huge plus
  • OR 5+ years prior work experience in a Consulting/Solutions Sales position working with Data solutions ranging from structured/relational to semi/non structured data such as: Cloud-based Data Warehouse, Databricks, Hadoop, Spark, Data Lake, SQL solutions required MySQL, PostreSQL, NoSQL (Mongo), PowerBI and/or Machine Learning solutions
