You will join a quickly-growing team of Data Engineers and Data Scientists to drive insights, improve automation, and build financing recommendations for small businesses. You will help cross-functional teams make better decisions with data, faster. How You Will Make An Impact:
- Leverage data and modeling to drive product success by identifying and solving ambiguous questions
- Conceive, develop, and execute projects to increase accuracy, automation, and customer satisfaction
- Deeply understand the data and business context to build and measure useful statistical and machine learning models
- Create key product metrics and performance indicators to risk and meaningfully contribute to profitability and customer satisfaction
- Effectively communicate and collaborate with a cross-functional team of stakeholders
What We Are Looking For:
- 3 - 7+ years of experience analyzing large data sets to solve problems and drive impact
- A degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Operations Research, Economics, Statistics, Sciences, Engineering)
- Expert knowledge of a scientific computing language (Python or R) and SQL
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with machine learning, statistics, and experimentation
- Experience in building scalable ETL solutions utilizing SQL, Presto, Spark, and other tools
- Experience in working with multiple cross-functional teams to deliver results
- The ability to communicate results clearly
- Experience with underwriting, credit models, or other financial instruments is a plus
