We're looking for a Data Scientist who will use data-driven insights to guide improvements in everything we do. You'll collect and analyze data from a variety of sources, you'll build reports and present insights to help the company understand patterns within our business, you’ll help to automate processes within our Go-to-market teams, and you'll work closely with Product Management, Engineering, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success to drive measurable change across the company. This is a growth-focused and highly strategic role in which you'll have visibility and impact across the organization.

What you’ll do as a Data Scientist/Automation Specialist at Notarize:

    • Develop models, reports, and dashboards to predict and track top-line revenue growth, customer health, and the identification of new target customers
    • Conduct analyses to identify opportunities within our retail (B2C) business, marketing spend, Sales touch cadence, and pricing strategy
    • Help our operations teams in automating processes, aimed at increasing our day-to-day working efficiency, and smoothly onboarding new Partners
    • Work cross-functionally to compile and communicate key insights, identify opportunities within our addressable market, and offer recommendations to leadership
    • Define and socialize meaningful metrics and analytics best practices to ensure that the entire product portfolio is measured consistently and effectively

What we’re looking for:

    • Enthusiasm for working with large, varied data sets from diverse sources
    • Deep statistical knowledge and a broad understanding of analytical and machine-learning techniques
    • Strong SQL and data manipulation expertise, as well as an ability to use the right tool for the job (i.e. Excel, Python-Pandas/NumPy/SciPy, R)
    • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical people
    • Proven ability to thrive in an open-ended, self-directed, and cross-functional role
    • Previous SaaS and Salesforce experience a plus, along with familiarity with popular BI tools (Metabase, Tableau, etc.)
