Are you a skilled analyst with extensive knowledge of and experience using SQL to manipulate large and complex datasets with a problem-solving mindset, driven to use data to drive and optimize strategy?

You'll be responsible for doing deep analysis to identify where there are areas of opportunity, ensure that the marketing team has the data they need to develop strategies and measure changes. Your work will inspire new projects, products and features, identify users that are under-served, measure key business metrics, and influence the strategy of our product and customer experience.

This role will work with other functional roles (product, engineering, design, marketing, operations,) to create the best experience possible for our customers and evolve our data-driven culture.

What you'll do as a marketing analyst at Notarize:

    • You'll be the owner of our traffic analytics and reporting. You'll ensure that the marketing team has the tools, knowledge, and processes to analyze everything from high level trends to individual campaign performance.
    • You'll be a thought partner to the Marketing Leadership team on the best ways to analyze or approach data-driven problems, investigations, and modeling. You'll work with the team to think through quarterly focuses / trade-offs.
    • Set performance benchmarks across our web site by line of business, audience, and campaign and empower the rest of the team to measure their performance.
    • Deliver data and analyses to stakeholders across the Marketing department that lead to actionable insights to support and drive both strategic and tactical data-driven decision making.
    • Build reports, dashboards, and alerts to monitor performance of the Marketing team’s key success metricsIdentify opportunity areas for new digital marketing campaigns and improved marketing efficiencies through campaign and customer value analysis.
    • Plan, implement, and measure experiments and conversion tests across our portfolio of digital marketing programs.
    • Partner with Product to understand how users are active on our platform. You'll work with them on deep analysis to unlock insights, find areas of improvement for engaging with our customers, and measure the success of new launches.

What we're looking for:

    • 2+ years experience in digital performance marketing, management consulting, startup/tech, agency, and/or strategy roles with a heavy analytical emphasis.
    • Ability to analyze and synthesize complex data sets, with a proven track record of driving outcomes through insights.
    • Fluency in SQL and Excel modeling required, flexible coding language like Python or R a plus.
    • Ability to handle multiple priorities, learn quickly, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
    • Excellent critical thinking and stakeholder management skills - ability to break down and communicate complex ideas and influence senior leaders and technical cross-functional partners.
    • Strong mathematical and writing skills in order to compare data and evaluate tactics to maximize results, while sharing learnings with the broader team.
